IL Injunction Reversed (Emergency Stay)_5/4/23 5:30pm

The court, for whatever reason, has chosen to issue an emergency stay while the state’s actual motion for stay is being briefed and considered. 

We are frustrated by this development, even if only temporary, as are all legal firearm owners in our state.

Fortunately, the briefing is being completed on an expedited basis. We hope that once the court considers our position on the injunction and the law’s unconstitutionality, the stay will be denied.

The Illinois State Rifle Association will not stop fighting for our 2^nd Amendment rights.

As of 5:30pm on 5/4/23 we are again unable to sell IL residents AR-15’s, any gun that accepts magazines over 15 rounds or mags that hold more that 15 rounds.

Those that bought guns during the brief window where we were able to sell and are waiting to pick up are still eligible for those guns.
